Summary
It is about a family which has just been evicted from their last house. His mother was a men-hating woman. The three family members were very exited when they pulled out up in front of their new home. But there were a few unusual things about it: the house was filled with cockroaches and there was an underprivileged airport at the back of their house. But it had a huge garden with a beautiful apple tree in it. Then there was Connie Vivona, She moved in with Paul with Nonno Frankie and Nonna Mamie. The first friend Paul met was in front of his house. Her name was Jennifer and she told him to be his friend. Jennifer showed him everything. All parents in this town were zombies. Jennifer was afraid that she would turn into a zombie too, but Paul carved in the apple tree: ‘ESCAPE! The next Saturday Nonno Frankie woke up the zombies. That first summer Paul should have suspected that Nonno Frankie was becoming his Pigman. A Pigman is someone who is there for you when you really need him. In the meantime a lot happens, but when Paul’s sister Betty wants to know a few things about relationships and sex, she asked Connie. At dinner Paul’s mother found out. From that moment, Paul’s mother and Connie had a terrible fight, and Paul’s mother decided to move again. They sold the house. But Paul doesn’t want to move because now he has to miss Jennifer and Nonno Frankie. Nonno Frankie helps Paul when he doesn’t know what to do. Than Paul’s mother went screaming through the back yard that they must leave the town. Paul became a writer but Jennifer became a zombie.

Opinion
It’s a book with a good story about how live can go. I could read the book easily. It’s not a very difficult book to read. I’d definitely tell someone to read this book, because it’s very fascinating.

Brief:
Hi Jennifer,
When you were young, and you met Paul? When you didn’t wanted to become a zombie? What the hell are you doing right now then? You’re a zombie!
And your kids say preciously the same as what you said then, so help them escape from this zombie-town.
Bye bye,
Tess
